I wasn't aware of thatTo be honest, I've seen people pay new-from-Starline prices for clean once-fired brass. I don't get it. But then Starline doesn't always have their brass in stock.
I'd say start at 10 cents per.
It would also help if you can state in your ad that any Hornady brass was checked for length. Hornady sells some of their 357 mag ammo with FTX bullets that require the brass to be trimmed shorter than normal. (They also do this with 45/70, and I think 44mag as well).
Fun fact about starline. If it says backorder then it will ship the same day. I heard that so I back ordered 357,45lc, and 45/70 and the next day I work up to 3 shipping numbers. Not sure the logic behind it but it’s true.To be honest, I've seen people pay new-from-Starline prices for clean once-fired brass. I don't get it. I currently have 41mag and 45/70 on backorder. Can’t explain your experience, but it isn’t universal.Fun fact about starline. If it says backorder then it will ship the same day. That has been my experience.I *think* if it says backordered, it generally means they have a scheduled run for whatever caliber.
You're basically going on the waiting list.
I've heard stories of it shipping anywhere from next day to next month.
I think I have some NIB .41 if you are in a pinch. Bought the big box at the time . . .I currently have 41mag and 45/70 on backorder. Can’t explain your experience, but it isn’t universal.
Thanks, have a decent stock of once fired, but if I run short will reach out. Please feel free to do the same if you come up short one day.I think I have some NIB .41 if you are in a pinch. Bought the big box at the time . . .
pretty sure that they just shipped 45-70 for arrival this week, so it may be a while until it runs againCurrently, Starline shows 45-70 brass available on backorder (the brown dot). I haven't seen that in many months.
