I loaded up 50 test loads Friday. 25 of CCI primers and 25 Winchester primers. Using five different head stamps in each group. I also loaded up 10 rounds of pre-primed brass with a new container of powder. All were with Win231 5.4gr. Everything went bang!

I do believe I have figured out my problem though. Friday when I went out to my reload shed I grabbed the powder container and it felt damp from condensation. Not a lot but some. The container is just about empty.

My load shed is insulated and heated. In the winter when I am not in there the thermostat stays on 40 when I know I am going to be out there I turn it up to about 65. There is a small fan that I always leave on just to move the air around. The powder was stored near the floor (n0n insulated) I believe that the quick difference in temp may have helped create my problem. I may of not have tightened the container lid well enough also.

Soloution: Heat now set on 50 in winter (ac 80 in summer). Moved powder up to a minimum of 30 inches off the floor and away from the door. Also note to self always make sure lids are tight.

Hopefully this solves the problem

Thanks again for all the help!
