To Mr. Seth Nance. He is one of my son's best friends and was just awarded the coveted and very hard earned title of Eagle Scout today.

My wife, son and I attended the 2:00 pm ceremony today. He won't see this but through my son he'll know I posted it. We're taking Seth with us next week to the USAF museum at Wright Patterson AFB and then on to the Indy 500.

Congratulations Seth on a job well done.

Awesome, My son just made wolf in the cub scouts. That was last week. He has accomplished more than I ever did cause I wasn't able to participate

Congrats!

What was his project?

Not sure actually. I'll ask him next week and come back and post it here. They did review some of his accomplishments at the ceremony today and one speaker started to mention a project he started, but it wasn't his main project and she got sidetracked and never told the audience. But I'll find out next week.

Ok no worries, just curious.

I got my Eagle 17 yrs ago. Then right after NCSU was brought back to run the troop for a several years. Ended with being the Eagle mentor for the troop. Took around 20 or so through the process. Mine was signed by GW. Osama signed most when I was back with the troop but we could still send off to get GW to sign them and two certificates were presented.

Congrats to that young man! That is huge. My dad & 3 uncles made Eagle, the youngest at just 15 y/o. I bailed at 16 y/o, just shy of Star, when I got sidetracked by girls, motorcycles & amateur pharmacology. Was an amazing experience & I hate that more boys won't get to experience that.

Congratulations! That's an exclusive membership which takes a LOT of hard work to acheive!

Congrats! Hope y’all enjoy Indy.... stay safe!

Thank you sir. We're looking forward to it. I've been many times and my wife has been a few. The enjoyment my wife and I will get out of going this time is allowing my son and his friend Seth to experience this great historic race and also tour the museum in the infield.

It's really something to see if you haven't been to the 500 before. These days, it takes more guts than skill to get a car around the track thanks to ground effects. But It's still exciting to watch.

From one to another, congratulations.

I keep my Eagle Scout on my resume and it has helped with a couple of jobs I got. It will maintain a positive impact for the rest of his life.
