I think it's are you man enough to live with the consequences of not going to court or other government agencies because you can't carry your gun.

If you gotta go to court I wouldn't suggest just not going and sending a letter because if criminal court they will just have you brought in and civil will just find against you without you there. I'm sure there are lots of place we all go without a gun on purpose or by simply not picking it up.
