So I assume to do centerfire you would remove and reuse the old anvil and remove any leftover priming compound, but what to do about the FP dent in the old cup? I guess beat it out with a punch?
Promising, but dang thats a bunch of work for something that SHOULD cost less than a nickel.

75 for the kit, and another 20 for the powder. 95 dollars and you still need the gun powder and bullets or lead to cast your own bullets. Seems kinda pricey for 2000 rounds

Couldn't you essentially do the same thing with the compound on match sticks? Maybe the match sticks wouldn't have a fast enough burn!

It might be fun to fill a hollow point with the stuff and shoot at some steel from a safe distance. That might be the grown up version of shooting primers out of a pellet gun at a stone wall. How in the world have I been able to live as long as I have with all the stupid stuff I have done?

Oh, I thought the 20 buck thing was the full kit.
Ya, but you won't need to buy the kit everytime. Soooooo..... still not sure, but hell I may try it

Can't find 22's around here but for big bucks!

yes but 75 of that is a one time buy.

powder charge is 1-1.5gr

without having to type everything out it boils down to about 40-60ish per 500 for your first round and actually probably cheaper

second round of loading is gonna be what 20-30 for the next thousand probably cheaper.

my only gripe is it is TTTTTTIIIIIIMMMMMEEEEE consuming. be reloading 22lr or primers

Might come in handy when there are no more primers. I am an old fart now but If I was a younger man in this day and age I would learn everything I could about being self sufficient.

There are a bunch of videos on YouTube about making and reusing primers. These days you just cannot know what is going to happen next. There is a possibility that firearms, ammo and reloading components will be taxed and the prices so high they become unavailable to the masses. Just a thought but it is possible. Remember the Boy Scout motto "Be Prepared" .🌨️🌨️🌨️
