Is this groundbreaking? Are we getting closer to mainstream acceptance? You decide

(And in case you missed the snark...pretty sure that was a direct shot at SilencerCo :D)

I do wish they'd worded it differently.

160dB...instantly reduced...to silence, isn't quite the reality of the situation o_O

How so? Sorry, I dont really pay attention to all the ads people put out etc, so I dont get how it was aimed (no pun intended) at SC

I really like my AAC suppressor, by the way

The snark was the comment he posted, not the video itself.

SiCo's entire marketing budget seems to be spent on hipster related ads instead of actual product...and it's been a running joke for a couple years.

What he said! We are trying to dispel the Hollywood BS and such the AAC runs this. Also it borders on false advertisement since I don't know of any normal suppressor that drops below 110db.

For example...

Not necessarily "hipster", but watch this one. Neat? Yes. Would I want to try it? Nope, but only because I refuse to go skydiving. But does it really tell me anything about SiCo or their products? Not really. Their entire email/videos/instagram/catalog selection seems to be a bit excessive without being helpful.

As I mentioned, it's been a running joke on AR15 and other sites for awhile. They sell a lot of stuff by word of mouth, the SPEQ program (even if you can get better deals elsewhere), and customer service stories. Not sure how many new customers they get by the things they publish.

Id love to go skydiving...but that commercial did nothing for me.
