I was in a LGS a month or so ago- and somehow the Ruger/Marlin 1895 Trapper that they had ended up leaving with me. I’m not sure what happened .. the details are vague. :) I got REALLY lucky… it’s well outside their normal stock .. and I’ve been playing with it some at the range.

Interestingly- I also own a JM stamped 336 XLR that’s one of the first XLRs that Marlin made.. as well as a remlin 336 , and a few other Winnie’s and Henry’s . I have a problem- but knowing is the first step. :)

Is there any interest in my posting an inexpert and wholly biased review of the new Ruger/ Marlins? I don’t typically see posts like that on this forum- but if there’s enough interest I’ll gladly share my experiences. ..

So far I've seen no bad reviews. Post up your thoughts since you're an owner not a paid gun writer. I have a standing order with my favorite LGS for an 1894 in 357 mag whenever they are released.
Will do! I’ll post my thoughts and a few pics tomorrow.. :)

Looking forward to the review and pictures.
