Anyone remember real country music?
Jason Isbell described it best "Nashville didn't ruin county music. Lotta good burgers in this town; no one's forcing you to eat at McDonald's." There is probably just as much good country music out there right now than at any time before. But using the internet to find it is a must.
I been slacking. Sorry Porter.How'd this thread get this far without mentioning Porter Wagoner? I can remember watching this with my grandparents in the early 60's when my father was overseas. Lawrence Welk and listening to the Grand Ole Opry over the radio.
