Please site the precedent for these assertions. The power of EO is limited and can only be used where there is ambiguity in the current law. Think bumpstocks. Mag capacity is clearly outlined in past law and current law. I think braces are in danger but without legislation by Congress there will be no universal background checks or a new AWB.
I also do not believe the has the power to stop importation of guns or ammo. The Chinese import ban was based on the existing AWB. Without the AWB Clinton did not have the power to instruct the ATF to rule as they did. Biden has no teeth at the moment. Peddling fear only adds to his power. IMHO

I would generally agree with you, but IMO times have changed. I would not rule out anything right now. Even things I would have laughed at 6 months ago. The audacity and lawlessness that has been allowed at all levels of Government have been an eye opener.
I am awaiting some incoming funding then plan on taking some of @BatteryOaksBilly advice. If this all comes together I may just have to travel south and thank the man in person. Before it gets too damn hot down there.
I understand that but the other side is not ignorant of Constitutional law and the limits of Executive Power. I believe they will do something but it will be limited to scope and effect but signal to the mass on the left “they are doing something.”
A new AWB or universal background checks is way outside that scope. We have to be smart and have to parse what is happening with a razor sharp eye. Forces on both sides of the spectrum are playing us against the middle. Many even on the right don’t a sh&t about our rights or our best interest but are looking to make $$ off our panic and fear.
They are not ignorant, but all they care about is what they can sell to the masses. Not what is truly Constitutional. And the masses are definitely ignorant on a large scale. And don’t forget that the press will lie and sell what they are told to.
I disagree. They understand “the law” more then we give them credit for. They understand that “the law” is to be interpreted. We don’t like their interpretation but if you look at it objectively it is based in precedent and case law. We have to do our best to counter that but to paint it as if their stance is from out in left field serves us no good.
You have to understand your enemy if you have any hope of defeating them.

How many people were calling for more gun control I the left while right leaning media was telling people to buy more standard capacity mags before the thread lock.

I find the entire idea of precedent to be insane. And total BS. It is used as a sales tool. Until it’s not needed. If a judge or court make a crazy decision or honest mistake due to a lack of information then we make it permanent law? Nope. Only if it favors what the left wants. Judicial review is a fact because it works for the Federal Gov’t. When the precedent doesn‘t achieve the current political goals it will be discarded.
