You can ask for fingerprints but you won’t get them. The market will correct for it. Said another way: nobody would buy the item.

Ironically, we would have to impose more rules in order to “limit” what people require in a transaction. That’s not up to us.

All we are doing is trying to have the same set of rules for everyone. Stealth ad stomping is a thing and the best way to make it amenable to transactions is to keep the chatter to a minimum and let sellers determine pricing and rules (the latter of which the law determines) and buyers can either buy or not buy as they wish.
