Yes I did. I learned a lot as usual. There are just a bunch of nuanced things that you learn in class that you won't pick up elsewhere that is for sure. Plus i learned my shotgun is not perfect for speedy shooting. I have been looking at shotguns the last few days. I really think the pistol grips make a difference on felt recoil. My son Dalton was much more beat up in the chest than i was but he didnt have the pistol grips ont he 590A1. My hands are still sore and my right pectoral is still a bit tender. A few hundred rounds of double ought buck will tenderize you a bit no matter the gun i think. I dunno if ill have a new shotgun before the next class. I informed the wife she might get a combat shotgun for her birthday in February and i will just "borrow" it for classes. Oddly, she didn't seem to think that was a good idea.

I should put up a review on here. I didn't see a way to review/rate on Facebook. You can PM me with whats the best way to do that and ill check. I certainly don't mind giving a review.

As long as you learned something that's all that matters. If you want to give a review that would be much appreciated, but dont feel pressured. A review/recommendation on Facebook or start an AAR here? Either way, whatever is easier if you feel up for it. The pistol grips are nice, check out the Remington 870 tactical with the pistol grip if you want a good pump shotgun with good ammo capacity. There are other options as well that I will be more than happy to send you all resonably priced. If you want to go semi-auto, I can send you options as well, just weigh the pros and cons we talked about in class. -Ryan

I would have went but I figured showing up all the pump action people with my 930 Jerry Miculek model would be rude.. :p:D

You have however talked me into that level one self defense class that’s on day 2 of the long range class. ;) I apologize in advance for going Audie Murphy on anyone.. :D

Nope! We usually get pump shotguns in these classes. You would have fit right in! Okay my friend, I'll sign you up!

Ryan is Stop the Bleed suitable for young kids? i.e. are you going to show trauma pictures? I was wondering if Ian could attend. It would be cool to have him certified. I would not mind having the certification myself and i could pull D2 along if i can extract him from the Xbox for a few hours... The Tac Med 101 you are running this Saturday I have taken twice now, and i know it has a lot of real world images of injuries, so i was wondering how the Stop the Bleed would be. Also, there is no pricing on the class FYI

Had a student fall ill and cannot make class this weekend. Looking to fill the final spot for Intro to Long Distance that he has opened up ASAP. If you want to take it, but have no rifle, I will waive the rental fee.

Hey guys! We are moving our Tac Med 102 class THIS Saturday. Tac Med 102 requires an excessive amount of physical movement start to finish, and with the ground being so slick and frozen I did not want guys dragging people on ice, especially if weapons are involved for the scenarios. To me, it is just too unsafe, and I will not risk your guys safety. We are instead making it a 1/2 day Fighting Pistol and a 1/2 Fighting rifle just running good drills on dots and steel focusing on fundamentals and weapons manipulation. I would LOVE to see you guys come out for this!

I saw your update on Facebook. Please sign me up for both classes. Can you give some details on class times and cost? I like the idea of a half day class so if i (or someone else) can only make part of it we are not leaving in the middle or something. Hopefully i can do both, but i have a couple of buddies who will be interested and they will want to know times and cost. I shared it on Facebook so maybe they will show up. Ill have lunch with another bud this week and can give him the details then.
