As much as I've enjoyed listening to Black Sabbath since the mid-70's:

1. Don't let the door of the Alamo hit you on the way out (yes, I understand that the Alamo incident wasn't the building in and of itself);
2. Take the Sussexes back with you.

Not that I really want to wish either on the UK (home of Austen, O'Brian, Tolkien) which has troubles enough.

I've always liked Sabbath and Ozzy's music. And I'm not going to stop listening to it.

That said, Ozzy isn't the sort of person I'd expect a nuanced opinion from. With all the drugs and drinking he's done in his life, I'm sure he's killed more than his fair share of brain cells. An entertainer doesn't have much to gain by spouting off their half-baked thoughts on TV.

If he does go back to Birmingham, I have a feeling he's going to quickly find that the England he left isn't the same England he came back home to.

Sharon Osborne is on fox news this morning.
she is clarifying that they don't like the gun violence in LA, that they don't like the revolving door of criminals, that criminals can commit gun crimes and be let right back out without bail.
Meanwhile, where they're moving to in england has a lot of land, and ozzy can still shoot, because he loves shooting. So it seems like she's a fudd and that she's not against guns, she's just not separating guns from criminals who use guns.
they're pitching her special mini series on their online subscription service, talking about how CBS ganged up on her and fired her for not toeing the democrat line, and discussing free speech. (bad news, sharon, it's worse in the uk...)

sounds more like they could just have easily moved to middle america and had a good life, but since she's a brit, he's taking her home in their later years because he has the resources to live how he wants to live wherever makes his wife (and, by extension, him) happy.

Trust me... the UK is worse, they just hide it from the population. He's complaining about taxes, etc. in CA - he's probably going to have a heart attack when he sees what the UK govt is going to steal from him... and if he has health issues the national health service isn't going to help unless he enjoys long wait times so he'll have to buy private healthcare anyway.
