I know a guy from Iraq, his uncle was Tarik Aziz. He assisted the Americans in the war first as a translator, then went out with the teams. He received an expedited citizenship in the US because of his support for our military. Any of you who got to know him would be pleased to call him a "fellow American". He works hard, raises his family responsibly, and started his own respectable business.
In the case of this airline incident, if there were warning signs and they were ignored for political correctness, as in the case of the Ft. Hood killer, that's concerning. But I'm not going to immediately assume anyone from over there is our enemy, either.
