A three part story of the true case of a couple who were victims of a home invasion and kidnapping and the FBI and local police were convinced the couple staged it. I remember the story when it happened in 2015. This will shake your faith in the FBI if you have any remaining. Well done and worth watching.

Infuriating to say the least

I remember when it happened but didn’t know of it to this detail. I had to watch the episodes in short bits and pieces because I’d get so frustrated for the people, the actual victims, I couldn’t stand it.

What was the police chief’s angle to the story? I was half paying attention but I recall the lawyer saying he had a massive conflict of interest or something.

The FBI agent had dated the ex fiancee of the guy whose house was broken into by the badguy. The police chief said " we're going to burn that bitch" referring to the kidnapped woman.
