Looking at LAX/Freedom Munitions site I noticed a lot of the .223 ammo says “not intended for use with a suppressor”. Seems to be 55grn and 62grn mostly and the 5.56 versions of the same grain don’t. Any idea what that’s about?

Examples:

Hmmm, my first thought was brass jackets but it doesn’t look like X-tremendous makes those. That’s a first for me.

I shoot almost exclusively M193 spec through my suppressors.

My understanding is that language first appeared within the past year when they started having reported jacket separation issues.

It appears that Freedom Ammunition and LAX are two brands of the same umbrella company.
Ya I know; that’s why I wrote “LAX/Freedom” in the OP. I doesn’t make sense why they would have it on some bullet weights but not others.

TL/DR: Our manufacturing process sucks and the bullets fly apart in the barrel.
I mean if it happens in the road agent/looter/other it's a good thing, just not so much the heavily regulated and expensive toob.
