After reading it I learned to avoid Sunday Brunch.
LJ once had the opportunity to attend a gathering of chefs in CO and Anthony was one of them. Meeting him and Jacques Peppin was the highlight of the trip for her. She spent about 3 days in Aspen rubbing elbo's with some of the top rated chefs and sampling their food.
It has, so far been a high point in her life and when she heard about Anthony she cried for him, and I didn't try to stop her...
I wonder if yall said the same thing when one of our own had a loved one take their life, or I guess that was different since he was 'one of us'
According to the book a lot of restaurants use up all of the leftovers and clean out the fridges for "Sunday brunch". Sometimes you find a lot of "casserole" type dishes on the buffets. You need to read the book. It talks about his drug problems and working in some of the bigger NYC restaurants.
Suicide is the most selfish act that a human being can do. Life is to damn short to end it just because you are not "happy". Who knows, you may be happy five, ten years down the road? Or wait 75 years and you won't have to OFF yourself. It will come naturally.
He was still a great entertainer though.
