The ARs in the pic had numbers on the stocks as if they were probably rented at the range they were at that day.

Luckily playing Xbox for a living still doesnt pay all that well and they can't afford their own.

An interesting observation of mine is that political ideologies seem to reside on a circle.

If the Left Wingers go far enough left and the Right Wingers go far enough right, they eventually meet up with identical ideologies, or at least with identical end results to their respective ideologies.

The only real difference is in what they choose to call themselves.

I would assume nothing about these folks.

They may appear to be the type that avoids "getting their hands dirty". They may look like they belong at a Starbucks, sipping a latte while sitting behind a laptop....but that's an appearance; that's all it is. What you see in that photo is a "shell".

What you don't see is the heart. What you can't see is the soul. What you don't know is the level of determination these folks have. Yeah; they may get some rabbit in their blood, sh*t their drawers, drop their weapons and cut/run after the first shot is fired toward them.

Then again, they may not. They may be ruthless as hell. That veneer you see may be covering a dedicated individual who is willing to sink to the lowest low and do anything, to anyone, indiscriminately, in the furtherance of their cause. They may be choking on bits of their own lung, or blood they've vomited up, but so long as they can still breathe, see and hold a rifle steady enough to get a picture, they are still throwing hunks-o-lead and copper your direction, trying to kill your ass.

And bullets from their rifles are no less lethal based upon who fired them and what they may look like.

I think of it as a line, in the middle is discussion and debate, further out in either direction is accusations and deriding the other view, and further out still is violence. The message is different on each side of the middle, but the tactics are identical.

As the professor is quoted below and admitted to instigating, I think he is a shining example of “Early Anthropology” , I believe he has gone, “LF”, Lunatic Fringe.

Dixon being a leader of the “LF” I certainly am not underestimating him or them.

Based on his new admission, his “resistance” may have been a factor in the tragic events that unfolded that day.

I think I prefer this guy out practicing his shooting skills over poisoning the minds (more than they already are) of 18-23yo's. Let him get proficient with his rifle such that there comes a day he initiates the 2-way range exercises. We'll keep that helicopter warmed up, too.

Let's set this into context here, by looking at what this nitwit wrote and where his claimed ideology lies.

The man is a left-winger. One could say he's apparently a pretty far left-winger.

In keeping with that ideology, this means he's opposed to the possession and ownership of firearms by the common citizens (meaning "those not in power"). He believes that only those in a position of political power and authority should be allowed to possess or otherwise own, utilize, and employ weapons. Politicians, police, military, and any other enforcement agency of the government.

Hence his use of the phrase "I take perverse pleasure in having carried this Spike's lower..." It's "perverse" because it's not allowed or contrary to the political/cultural ideology he ascribes to. It's "forbidden"...and therefore perversely pleasurable when he does it.

Kinda like anal sex or oral sex in a cultural background where sex outside marriage and other than missionary/procreation.


He claims to have used the weapon quite literally for defense against someone else who was arguably wielding the threat of deadly force by his actions in his vehicle. So, once again, he's engaging in an act that is "forbidden" by his political ideology, namely using deadly force (through the presentation/use of a firearm) in defense of himself and others.


All this is clearly supported by his statement that "when the left uses violence...it's resistance". And, of course, he says this only rarely happens. And yet, history has proven this to be a lie, time and time again. The "left" uses violence at least as much as the "right". Why? Because it's inherent in human nature and labeling people "right" or "left" does not abrogate that basic fact of humanity.


The fact that it's "forbidden", and yet he owns/uses a firearm (especially in such a fashion), AND that he says it's OK when the LEFT uses it, gives lie to his claim of "ethics and antifascism". It's a clear demonstration that he firmly believes the ownership and use of firearms is OK...but ONLY when it's in support of his own political ideology, which includes denying this right to others.

It looks like a sad and pathetic low budget Public Access Progressive remake of Red Dawn.......

That said, trigger discipline is obvious in the shot, so they do have a better working knowledge of firearms than their previous iterations and shouldn't be underestimated.

Haven’t read the rest of the thread yet, but Louder With Crowder infiltrated them and they talked about if things got heated to fall back to cars where weapons are stored and then opening up on people that would possibly be counterprotesting them or fist fighting them.
