No, not THAT kind of dirty, I mean the dirt bike folks.

Anyone else have dirtbikes on here?

I had a bike that I wish I still had. I rode hare scrambles on a KTM 250ECX. My son MX'd a YZ125.

I got a little KLX140L I bought for a pit bike when I was dragracing, but made sure I had something that was large enough for some trail riding. In fact, been trail riding with some folks here (well, I think they're here, I know they were at CSC but dont post much).

Its a small 144cc big wheel bike, but still has over 10" of ground clearance and it'll tractor up any hill I've faced so far at Uwharrie and Brushy Mountain.

Added a small molle pouch to the side to toss in a bottle of water etc, nothing crazy.
Looking to add a little, cheap cargo rack on the back so I can strap a gas can to it so I can run up to the gas station a mile from home (back roads) to get gas for the lawn mower etc

Also, I chose the 140L because I had to make sure I could flat-foot the bike - dont want to lose balance around a $50k+ racebike and damage someone's ride.
But with disc brakes front and back and the larger wheels, its a great little trail bike with electric start!

I've been tempted lately to buy another bike, but my wife and my 56yo knees keep convincing me it's a bad idea.

My last hare scramble was in 04 at the ripe old age of 35. Big Buck GNCC, creek jump with a bad landing folded elbow backwards, dislocated shoulder. It was on a hotroded 2001 KLX300 (365 stroker kit). Still have it in the basement. Don't ride it at all anymore,Just cant let it go.

Damn I miss it every weekend still. But the injuries I do not miss at all

I have a Yamaha WR250. Not MX but good trail and putt-around bike. Once you go SxS UTV, it's REAL hard to go back...

Yamaha XT250 for dirt roads in the Blue Ridge. At 67 I don't go fast any more but may be having more fun :)

When I bought my KTM, the decision got down to 250EXC vs WR250. I went with the KTM due to it being lighter and easier to 'flick' around in the woods.

I want a dualsport one day
Something along the lines of a WR etc

That KLR 650 Kawasaki is a badass. A buddy of mine has that 1100cc Can Am beast...WOW!! Whattabike!
