Any other "regular" car enthusiasts out there?

Even better than Foxes are the 65-70s...one of these days my '69 coupe resto-mod will run again.
I was hard after a 65-67 fastback but can’t stand the additional price of admission just for a fastback, so I ended up with later model examples. A ’69 is certainly a fine example. Maybe we can get @Stentor to post a vid of one he had or may still have. The sound is glorious.

Nobody ever mentions a Checker, one of the most practical cars ever to hit the highway.
My uncle had one in the 60’s. The floorboard of the back seat was like the rear floor of a Ford Super Crew truck with the seats folded up. You could get in back WITH your bags.

And the body panels were approximately as thick as the hull of the USS North Carolina.

I might know where a big block Ford or two are housed. :) They haven't been out of the garage much lately--hope to change that in 2021.

Circa 2019.jpg

Circa 2019 or so at the old house in Apex. Mustang is the first car I bought. The Blue Goose ('54 210 sedan) was Granddaddy's. Restomod plans for the Mustang (331, Tremec, Watts link, composite leafs, coil over tubular front, minimal body mods, Ford-based EFI tuned on a laptop). BlueGoose is still in planning...would love an AME chassic and LSx drivetrain.
