Got a call from our neighbor in SC. Apparently the powers that be (power company) decided to drop the lake level 6' and counting this week.
Our pontoon is now basically on dry ground....with the foot of the engine in the dirt!
Heading down tomorrow to see if I can lift it enough to tilt the engine up.
Thank God we didn't leave it moored to our rigid dock!

Chit I loaned mine out and dude never brought it back. You know how it is. Hope all is well with the boat.

LOL!...Thanks. Hoping the mud is deep and soft, and the water/wind was calm when it dropped.
Our security team (neighbors) sent pics....there's a little water at the toons (or was at 2pm) but the boat is definitely resting on the ground.
Good news is...I'm able to take tomorrow off for "that"....but scheduled a meet on site with the foundation guy to mark the foundation for the cabin build.
2 birds...one stone...and we FINALLY get the cabin thing going.

I have one on site in Jax Fl but that won't do much good in your case. Take some plywood and 2x6's and jack up on the motor bracket until it clears. Assuming you do get it tilted it may still have water in the housing that could freeze later. Be cautious.... If you need help holler back....

Can you even get to it with trailer to get it out? Should be able to jack back end up lift motor and possible set poontoons back down on log easy and then jack up front set down on another log and possible slide it back to the water on the logs. If not logs something thats large and would roll under it.

Nice. Good idea with wood and jack. Becareful not to jack where you shouldn't. Good luck with the cabin!

Build a temporary sandbag dike around it, flood it with lake water, scotch it up and dry dock it in place?

What they said about jacking it up, and then get yourself onto the email notification list from the power company.

Water level started coming back up before I got there this morning. Engine foot was till in the mud but it raised easily with just the tilt/trim.
