Anybody got to Hickory Gun Show ?

You guys are right. I can’t wait until there are no more dang gun shows. Sigh

Y’all should rent some tables at the next show and sell your stuff at prices you think are fair
Why do that when I can sell here for going rate. Not wanting to sell now. Will buy if it's something I want and Price is reasonable

OP, to answer your question, it doesn't seem like anyone has any input on THIS HICKORY GUN SHOW...

Ok, so I had a table at the Hickory Show. I reluctantly decided that I would participate after coming home early from Myrtle Beach Bike Week. Crowd was sparse and the vendors count was light, considering the other 2 Gun Shows in the immediate area. Despite all this, we had a good time. I sold a couple of guns, some Ammo, but definitely didn’t take anyone to the cleaners. I also traded into a couple of nice new weapons I’m very pleased with.
As was referenced before, the folks who work these tables are good people that spend money renting their spaces and spend their time setting up Friday, dealing with every eccentric personality that walks through the door all day Saturday and Sunday. They are asked stupid questions and are offered Guns in trade for ridiculous prices as well, yet they complain about the pricing on the tables. After 2 days of this, many become a little tired as well, and by 5pm Sunday, have to pack up for the next show.
So the folks who casually walk through for the hour or two each day may form their opinions, but seldom realize what it takes to work these events.

I can’t imagine all the crazy conversations vendors get into at a gun shows. There are normal shoppers and then there are the window lickers.

I have been disappointed the last 2 shows I attended by vendor turnout. I can’t remember the last one I attended but I’m thinking I missed the last three or four.

As the vendors revenue diminishes at each show the less come to sell.
