Anyone ever ordered from raven rocks precision?

Some folks over on snipershide.com reported that they were legit.

I was a bit leery when I saw they offered a 250-count of Sierra 77gr MK bullets. Sierra doesn't offer a 250 count box... only 50 or 500.

I'm thinking of ordering the 77gr smk. That is the best price I have found. I just hope there legit.

$160/500 seems to be a nominal price for Sierra 77’s so don’t let the $80/250 fool you.

Sigh… I can remember when they were $80/500 😞

The next closest I have found is $163 @ powder valley but they don't have free shipping. I picked a terrible time to get into reloading.

Gun.deals listed a couple sites showing them in the $150/500 price range, but no idea how legit the sellers are.

Midway just had a run of 77gr seconds for $18/100 but it looks like they’re sold out now.

Unless you have to have Sierra 77’s, Nosler is an acceptable substitute that shoot well. Barring that, the Hornady 75 is also a decent bullet too.

I just came into a deal and pick up a case of 4K Hornady 75’s for $525. Not my first choice of bullets, but it will keep the rifle fed for a while!

I thought about trying the seconds from midway but was afraid they would be a waste of money.
I will look into the nosler and hornady. The 77gr smk and tac has been my best groups so far.

@BigWaylon if you'll move this to reloading it would be appreciated. I should have put it there to begin with

I've been shooting Nosler 77gr seconds (purchased from ShooterProShop) for a number of years now and have been pleased with the results. I'm down to my last 1K of them and then ran into my Hornday deal.

I'd have the occasional errant shot, but for the most part I could get them to hold about 3/4MOA on a good day. But then again I'm shooting NRA/CMP highpower with them where 1MOA is a "clean" target.

I will try the nosler blems from shooters pro shop, it says that those are only cosmetic blems. Thanks!
How do the 75gr hornadys shoot for you? I tried the hornady 68gr match and they were terrible with every powder I tried compared to the 69gr smk.

The Hornady 75 bthp bullets were not the most accurate that I tried in 223, but they were close. I could consistently get < 1moa with them, using either Varget or 8208.

Looks to be a NC company with decent prices. Does anyone have any experience with them?
