Jeeez, is there any to be found??? Where do we have to travel to to pick up some damn primer's, haha. And no to Canaduh.
Pretty sure @Gator found some at Hyatts yesterday.
This. I grabbed some Tuesday from Hyatt’s. Federal spp and lpp available 2x 100 sleeve limit at $7 each. They didn’t have any rifle primers tho.
Thats really not too bad in today’s world. Selling on Gunbroker every day got $150/k.been offered them weekly starting at $100 per 1k i dont think so !!!!!
That is some funny 💩 right there.
Luckily im still loading for $11 per hundred. Since i stocked upThats really not too bad in today’s world. Selling on Gunbroker every day got $150/k.
.10 for primer
.10 for bullet
.02 for brass
.02 for powder
.24 per round = $12.00 per box compared to $30-35/box got 9mm sounds like a bargain.
I’m actually loading cheaper than that but there will be a day that the cheap components are gone.Luckily im still loading for $11 per hundred. Since i stocked up
You will have to show him your socialist party membership card first. 😆I'm certain that in our new progressive democratic socialist world you can understand the concept of " from those that have , to those in need? " I'll be right over.
Maybe I'm missing something, but how will casting bullets help someone find primers? and I also don't understand what you mean by cast powders and jacketed powders. I use the same powder if I'm using lead, coated lead, plated or jacketed bullets. Powder is decided depending on caliber and velocity desired not by the bullet materialCasting bullets is the only thing that I can account for as the reason I have a pile of primers.
Over the last 4-5 years I have shot fewer and fewer jacketed bullets in all of my guns.
Honchoing bullet molds on the Castboolits forums keeps me casting, shooting and testing year round to get better technique and getting the dimensions just right with the designer.
So the most that I bought over the last few years was powder and primers. As I got better in my reloading technique I realized cast lead powders and jacketed powders differ somewhat and it left me with a lot of popular jacketed powders and a PILE of primers.
Start casting. You will thank me later.

Thank you for your kind offer @Charlie , but I am neither a socialist or low on primers. I've got a few miles on my odometer and have learned from the past. And being honest I think that quote is more in line with communism. Ain't wanna them either.Socialists can go sit on snakes.
I will be glad to give you a few if you really need a few. The primers I would give you if you show me a socialists party membership card are the ones that have already been fired. I have lots of those.
I use web trackers. Gotta be ready to buy within 30 seconds
People with more time and knowledge than me have set up bots that monitor certain sites to keep an eye on when primers go in stock. If you use discord send me a private message. Can you explain this?

It's not people hoarding. It's a perfect storm of covid, supply and demandI met someone yesterday that said they had just bought 2000 primers on gun broker for $500. They are new to shooting and reloading. My heart about stopped when I heard that. I have plenty of small rifle primers I think about 5000. But running low on small pistol. I wish people would stop hoarding them
