Looking at the LCPII .22 thread reminded me that once in a while I'll see a Bersa Thunder in .22lr at a gun show - anyone have any experience with one of these ? I've had a Thunder Combat plus in .380 (15+1) for a few years which so far I have found reliable but cannot find many people talking about the .22 versions.

Alloy frame, steel slide. DA/DA with decock.

I had one years ago. Didn't shoot it a whole lot, but never had any trouble with it using high velocity stuff.

I hear ya. Just had a hankering for an all metal .22 pistol bigger than mouse gun, smaller than full size.
They're spendy, but the Browning 1911-22 might fill the bill for you. Unlike the 380, the .22 is all metal (at least mine is). It's a real nice little peashooter.

Thanks- Im trying to remember if I've handled one- will check-em out.

I have one. It's a bit picky on the ammo it likes- stock it does best with higher valosity ammo. You can get a replacement spring for shooting the normal stuff

I have one and enjoyed it. Been reliable with quality ammo of higher velocity. Wife really likes it and fun plinker for newer shooters that are sensative to recoil and pretty accurate for what it is.

I have never owned a Bersa. We have had them through here. I don't remember any problems with them......both .380s.

I had one and liked it a lot. I also have the Thunder 380, which I like enough to keep forever. The Gun Store in Lexington has them occasionally.

I've got an old one and it's all steel, I love it. The downside is the safety must be a cast piece because a friend managed to knock it against something and broke the lever right off.
