Will it matter that the tested weapon was a AR 1:7 twist and I'm using a bolt 1:8

I'd compare the two and see how they stack up due to the varying twists. But I'd lean more towards the 1:7 data.

What's the host rifle info? Brand, chamber, barrel length, etc?

Ruger American Ranch
556nato, 16" barrel, 1:8 twist.

I loaded some SMK 69gr's seated at 2.3" with 25.7gr of cfe223 and put 5 rounds in the same hole but when I seated to 2.26, so that itd fit in the mag, it didnt do as good so I want to try some different powder charges.

My friend said the ruger has a deep chamber and the bullet most likely did better when seated at a longer OAL, because the bullet was closer to the rifling.
