Recently did some trading with a buddy, whose got a friend who works for this company. Ended up with a couple of their lowers, which seem to be of good quality.

Built the first one out with no issues, using a PSA LPK. Only issue I had was the mag well seemed tight, and wouldn’t freely drop PMags. After doing some reloads, alternating between Pmag and steel mag the issue went away all together.

Built out the second lower using a LPK I got from a buddy, had the same issue with the magwell but once again resolved itself. The rear takedown pin had a lot of wobble to it. Compared it to my other builds, and it definitely seemed out of spec. Changed out the spring, detent, and pin with a spare from a CMMG kit and issue was still there.

Contacted the company, just to see what they would say and maybe they would make a suggestion. Owner not only responded the next morning, but offered to exchange it since he agreed it was out of spec. Was very apologetic and super awesome to deal with.

On a cool side note, found out while typing this apparently the owner/co-owners has his kids in same day school as my oldest.

Highly recommend if you are wanting a lower made here in NC!
 
I’m a firm believer/purchaser from this company now. Owner not only took care the issue but hooked me up with a billet lower!

From speaking with him, they use same manufacturer as Aero, then does some of the final milling in house. Gets all his springs and other smaller parts from their same supplier, just doesn’t get stuff like the buffers engraved.

Real down to earth guy, takes pride in his work and wants his customers to be happy.

I’ll be buying more from him in the future

I installed a couple of Aero LPK this weekend and the rear takedown felt a little sloppy also. Gonna go back and check them to make sure.
 
Im the buddy, and i know the owner lol.

But i have been pushing his product!! He also has awesome hand guards and uppers!! Attention to detail is there for him!!! Great guy and company, i support him 100%

I explained it was saving time/money cause then I wouldn’t be making two trips

They built a brewery next to our daycare. I guess you see where that story leads….
 
So that lower isn't out of spec likely. I've built 9 of the lowers now, for me and @Flipside1212. Take the detent and spring out and run a hex key through it and clean out the leftover flashing that's in there from them milling the hole. That's all it is likely, which is keeping the spring from engaging the detent. Has happened on one of the ones I have as well as several others from different manufacturers and brands.

Arch Angel uses the same manufacturer as Aero.

Ummm I don’t know what “other” websites your on but I think you either 1) need Jesus 2) might be on a FBI list 3)need to edit as others have mentioned
