Are OBO adds ok?

I believe the rules say you need to list a $ value, but I don’t think there’s anything against saying it’s a swag and you’ll take “or best offer” or a reasonable offer. As long as you agree on a time, place, and trade, I think you’re good to go.

I've seen a few people put Firm in their ad, I figured the rest would negotiate a some.

OBO is okay so long as there is a corresponding reasonable value listed.

IOW, you can’t list your Glock at $19,000 OBO. But $600 OBO is OK.

Just be reasonable.

What if it has been custom stippled with a torch-heated finishing nail?

…and has a naked lady silhouette on the back plate, similar to what some truckers have on their mud flaps?

EDIT: Those are really available. Curiosity got the best of me and I searched it. Now, I’m sorry I even looked.

I always assume that all prices are going to be OBO regardless. Even if they say otherwise, all it takes is a bit of time to wear a number down.
Remind me not to do business with you. 😄

Should be fine, as long as you list it in the correct place and spell it properly. 🤓

I posted ones with laser stippled boob photos here.

That's my thoughts when I see OBO.
Looking for the high bidder.
OBO should be less than the listed price.

I’d like to get $XXX, but if nobody wants to pay that much I’ll take the best offer I get.

My favorite is all the dagger and other glock clones that I see posted that have asking prices more then you can buy a glock for. Or the used firearms that are asking more then new prices.
