Happy to be here
I believe that glock is priced as it is because of its historical value.
That is the glock that John Wilkes Booth used to assassinate Abraham Lincoln...

Retired from where? My wife is a retired employee, too, just not from Glock. And it belonged to "a retired employee." /gasp
3 Glocks on the first page of Myrtle Beach Armslist. G26 for $720, G19 for $650, and a G21 for $725.
I find his reasoning a little questionable.

"This Remington Arms Co. Marlin 336C chambered in .35 Remington is a truly remarkable rifle. This is not because it is completely unmolested and unfired other than testing from the manufacturer. This rifle bears a marking that for one should not even be on the firearm. This is the "Half EH" which is stamped almost as if the person stamping it was unsure if it should be stamped and here is the reason for the confusion. Read carefully below...
The barrel is rollmarked with "North Haven CT" although the barrel was made in Ilion NY. This is not a rare thing since Remington had an agreement with Marlin to allow the Connecticutt rollmarks on New York made guns until January 1, 2013. BUT...All barrels made in 2012 by Remington sporting a Conneticutt rollmark were stamped with a "G" year indicator, 2011 guns had a "F" indicator, and when Remington took over in 2010 they started with an "E" indicator for the 2010 year.
So E=2010, F=2011, and G=2012... So H=2013 or should have on Ilion NY barrels. This rifle is sporting an "H" indicator meaning it was a 2013 barrel with a North Haven CT barrel. So in conclusion, this rifle is wearing the last North Haven CT barrel ever rollmarked. "
Ironically, the second pistol I ever bought, around 2007 or so, was a Baby Desert Eagle Compact. Polymer frame with "IWI" in the grips. Every other one I've seen had "IMI" in the grips. Still have it, and it is possibly the favorite of all the pistols I've owned. He's interest in trading for a "Dessert Eagle."
Tasty!
Ironically enough, some of the Jericho 941's imported by MRI were rollmarked as "Baby Dessert Eagle Pistol."
I had a full size polymer, but didn't care for it as much as my compact. I believe my compact is a Baby Desert Eagle, not the Baby Desert Eagle II that is out now. Not sure of the differences off the top of my head. They all are IWI (Israeli Weapon Insustries) now, IMI (Israeli Military Industries) is more rare. I have the steel frame full size model in the classifieds.
Gotcha. Haven't read up on them in several years. Thanks for the info. There's the Baby Eagle, which is a Striker-Fire Abomination, the Baby Eagle II which is what you have, the Baby Eagle III which is MRI's bastard child, and the plain old "Jericho" which doesn't say "Baby" anywhere on it.

Begs the question, are there Glock collectors? I suppose that someone does.
I don't know, but if it means you can get $550 for a used gen 3 with stock sights I'll be spray painting everything going in the BST section.http://www.armslist.com/posts/68700...dguns-for-sale--custom-painted-glock-19-gen-3
ok guys which one of you are doing custom glock paint jobs?

What does standard (noncustom) spray paint look like? But it has to be "custom" spray painting.
I texted him. No response. :/
First, I doubt it's the Meck Sheriff doing this, because it would fall under Entrapment.
Second, it's not the ATF, because ATF has no permit requirement.
Third, while it COULD be the SBI, I highly doubt it.
I'm pretty sure it's just an idiot kid, or someone trolling.

To bust private sellers, or FFLS? Or both/
One would think.
Not sure how they make it work legally but they do it with hookers and blow too.
