According to the article army manpower folks are preparing publications to cover how the program works.

What do they need more bodies for?

From the end of the article:

"Many people predict the Biden administration is preparing to increase US military operations in Ukraine, or perhaps there is an “election year variant” of COVID or another bio-weapon planned. Either way, it appears something is in the wind."

Lol, most retirees are too broken physically or mentally to be any good. But neither is the general population, from a news article a week or two ago

"The military is also facing a high level of unfitness to serve among the general population: as of 2020, it assessed that 77 percent of those aged 17-24 were unqualified due to medical reasons, drug use or criminal records."

But what's this source OP?

Criminals and druggies soak up bullets just fine, just ask the russians

And MOS shifting:

I know, T&P, so here's a excerpt:

Soldiers serving as cavalry scouts and military police will not be approved to reenlist and will need to reclassify to a new MOS, according to policy documents. If those soldiers want to continue their service, they will submit paperwork through their career counselor to the U.S. Army Human Resources Command which will decide on a case-by-case basis, according to officials.

Lol. Lolol. Bwahahaha. I can see some of these guys being recalled to active duty, 40 lb overweight, no knees, no hips, no back. Being shoved into the S1 or S4 shop.
Or old cantankerous bastards like us, way past our primes and not giving 1/10 of a …

Maybe they should stop worrying about stupid stuff like changing West Point mission statements to the latest buzz words and stick to simple core values that actually have meaning.

People enlist for a lot of reasons, but being a part of something bigger than they are, rooted in fundamental values, is a big part of it. Pulling crap like this with West Pointers doesn't inspire enlisted who will end up following people raised like that.

Change or bury that bastard Commander in Chief an you may see a rise in recruiting… I have a dear friend that was Sgt. of the Guard at Camp David during the obama era most of his men had the same sediments that they would rather puke in their hats that to salute that son of a bitch when Marine 1 would land.. I’m sure it’s the same way now with bozo joe an his prostitute…as it was during the clinton debacle…

Diversity first

Equity in all we do

Inclusion for all

3 years of 20-24% missed recruiting goals and even tried to cover it up with number shifting. It’s pretty clear Biden and woke ass Loyd Austin has soured young men’s patriotism.
Not even close.

All the podcast of veterans talking about our brothers and sisters killing themselves has spoiled the bundle.

No one with a freaking brain would say:

"heck yeah, I want to go join a group of people that puts me at a 40% higher suicide rate compared to my peers"

We have lost more service members to their own hand then to the enemy.

It's been true in every war ever, we just talk about it now

An 18 year old hasn’t a clue about vets suicides. All he knows is the pay is poverty and his high school buddies said the military was full of queers.

I see alot of hero worship, SF, SEAL, OGA, etc. podcasts that speak to veterans of these units and young people tune in.

The days of our years are gone. You can follow a channel, get introduced to a veteran and follow his socials and within 6-months read his obituary.

Seen it happen you a young stud.

Smart kid, went on a different path.

My granddad was a chaplain at the VA hospital in Fayetteville from the mid 40’s, to the mid ’70’s.

I don’t know exactly what all that job entails, but I imagine the number of burdens he tried to help off load...

That was either the most fortuitous malapropism in history or the wittiest play on words I've ever read. Either way, I 🤣
