I don’t care if it’s an air rifle or not it can hurt or shoot someone’s eye out and I don’t want anyone to get hit.

While not the level of boa constrictors or feral hogs iguanas are damn invasive to Florida. They do their own form of damage … from causing power outages by shorting across grid lines to actually causing structural damage to buildings and streets from excessive burrowing. They also carry a couple dieseases … salmonella. Like the boas and pigs once they reach a certain size their predators drop to near nil so their population is growing.

Funny side note during the cold snaps south Florida had in recent years quite a few cities actually issued warnings of “falling iguanas”. The cold pretty much causes them to lose movement and the ability to maintain their hold in trees and they fall … on people, cars, etc. An adult iguana can hit 10 lbs easy and falling from 20-30 feet can hurt.

Nice crunchy skin to succulent tail meat.

Receipts at the end.

I'm sure she was worried because they looked like a terrorist invasion team. 🙄

Wishful could afford one of those rifles AND the $300 pump that goes with it.

Poor guy (gal? Gene? who knows) was putting up curtain rods....

Crushed his sense of domestic tranquility.

Good.

Lesser known (for now) is the implosion of monitor lizards expanding throughout the Sunshine State!

They make iguanas seem like parakeets!
