Chevron Deference Violates the Constitution, Argues FPC to Supreme Court

FPC and FPCAF ask the Supreme Court to overrule the deference doctrine the Court established in Chevron U.S.A., Inc. v. Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc.

This court is the best change we’ve had in awhile to overturn this travesty of a doctrine.

Chevron Deference is an atrocity. First, lazy legislators effectively gave their legislative authority to the bureaucracy and then lazy judges effectively gave their judicial authority to the bureaucracy. It is no wonder that bureaucrats think they are all-powerful and can do whatever they please.

Seems to me that if the judicial branch is supposed to interpret laws, then if the legislative branch is able to establish a new entity able to interpret laws, it usurps the authority of the judicial branch. But granted I'm not a lawyer....
