The springs is a lot like Boulder, 50% conversative, 50% liberal and all the state laws are geared towards the left unfortunately.

There's folks driving around here in the ghetto with NY and other Blue hellhole plates that expired years ago.

There are some good ones out there. But the system is whack.

In NY the plates run for two years unless it changed, no refunds if you leave the state. I just renewed and it cost me over $250 back in 1990 so I drive my car with NY plates until they expired but did get my NC DL as soon as I set foot in NC.

When I moved to Charlotte, I'd say at least half of the tags in my apartment complex were expired. It was nuts. You literally wouldn't make it a day with an expired tag back home. Here? Nobody gives a crap. Not a cop to be seen on the roads.

That's why they stopped using inspection stickers on the windshield, costs money and the inspection stations always were out of stock and you had to go back in a week to get inspected. DMV knows when the tag expires and if it was inspected within 90 days of renewal of tags.

So I was listening to Beck today by accident and he was saying something like if the kid had been wearing a rainbow unicorn patch they would have loved it.. So I did a little experiment some time ago. I saw a very woke friendly T shirt and bought it. One day I wore it to the local gas station and lets say Im rural and not in a place likely to support the ideas of the colorful shirt I had on. Granted I am from there but not one person said a word. Next day I was in Raleigh and I wore a Trump 2024 hat. Let me tell you. The venom that got spewed at me was outstanding. One woman even came to me and whispered. I hope you die and rot in hell.
Ironically free speach has been guaranteed by the very people that are hated for exercising it. People that go around telling you they hope you rot in hell are not the types that are going to look out for the ideals our country based on. They want it all for them selves. There is a girl that works down at that gas station I mentioned. Lets say she looks as much boy as girl and wears clothes that let everyone know where she stands. She gets along just fine and fits in in her own way. Let a young person wear a Trump hat to work at a gas station in North Raleigh. It wont go down like that.
We have put up with way to much nonsense for way too long.

Don't give them too much credit. The lawyers probably told them how incredibly wrong they were for doing this. They're trying to head off the lawsuit, or at least reduce the damage it will cause to their coffers.
gadsden flag predates the "racist" rebel flag by about 100 years. a flag patch is not a distraction until the teacher makes it one.
