At the ATL-Panthers game

Have we become a third world country?

Let’s see.
political rights usurped under the guise of a corrupt legal system….check.

Civil liberties non existent under current laws….check.

gross national income down due to covid legislation…..check.

Zero press freedom since they’re all owned by like 3 people and used to spread propaganda….check.

Love the hand in pocket...
Honestly he could begin the shouldering process in the time it'd take to remove those fingers from the pocket.

I hope you had a great time at the game today
Shame how bad the Panthers look this year (so far). I'll keep casually watching and hoping for SOMETHING positive.

And suppressed, too.

We went to the 2018 Peach Bowl game there and even then we saw numerous AR toting homies.

Only time I can remember being in Heathrow airport about 20yrs ago, walking by the Airlingus gate access, two guys in full battle kit with MP5's. Right after 9/11, RDU airport, NG soldiers with AR's. We've been this way for a while.

Frankfort was like that 40 years ago. Uzis and HKs

Mag in it?
Probably not, or if there is, there is probably tape over the first round. Had a coworker who was stationed as an MP. He said they kept magazines in their rifles, but they had to remove the tape to make them usable and if they did they better have a really good GD reason.

Right? Dude was in condition white lol...
You, are aware. Most are not. They’re probably there for intimidation and pacification more than anything else.
I wonder who they plan on assaulting with those assault weapons. I've been reliably told by my leaders they are ill-suited for self defense.
Well, then now we can point to this scene any time the jackasses start wailing about there being no reason for weapons of war on our streets. Obviously, either this isn’t true or those aren’t weapons of war (all weapons are, by the way but they don’t know that). what’s also concerning is that the sheeple are scared to death of you having one, but put it in the hands of a govt. agent who is probably far less proficient and half mentally unstable and they’re comforted by it.

In spite of the loss we had a great time. One of my sons is a Falcons fan and this was on his bucket list. I was happy for him.

The Panthers will be all right. You can't have three turnovers and a million yards in penalties and be competitive. Bryce will settle down.

I will also say this, I've been to a lot of games and a lot of places for a variety of sports, this is one of the most chill and relaxed crowds I have ever seen. Even the drunks were cool lol. No fighting, no foul language, it was a really good atmosphere.

I blew up the picture just for better reference.

So he and some others were with GBI. My guess is contracted for large events. I have no idea the size of the GBI, but in no world can I see the SBI having the manpower to contribute to large events like this on a regular basis.

A few thoughts: Public events and large crowds are always soft targets for inflicting maximum damage. A number of actual mass shooters/domestic terrorists over the past years have stated either in interrogation, court or by a manifesto that the reason they chose that specific target was because of loose or non-existent security presence. IIRC a recent example would have been the Nashville Private School out of several locations they were first due to non-existent security presence. I'm not sure "intimidation" is the right interpretation. I absolutely agree it could be preserved as such and may be so in some cases. However, due to the atmosphere and what we've seen over the past few years, I really don't think the display of force "at times" is a bad idea. There are many times when having a visible onsite security presence is enough to deter crime or bad behavior. Having an actual armed Police force who has the authority to do something "in the event of X" and respond is what they are there for. The general posture is normal for most doing security whether LE or other. I'd much rather him be an obviously, pure identifiable, casual eyesore than in a dumb menacing bouncer-type stance for no reason. Odds are since GBI is there and he's obvious there are a half dozen plain clothes you aren't seeing.
