This look legit?

Each star is for a patrol, right?

Why no sea service deployment ribbon?

I would think there should be a SSDR for sure. Where did this come from, Together We Served?

A SSDR requires 90 consecutive days at sea or two 80 day periods within 12 months to be awarded.
So, if the patrols were conducted off the coast of the U.S., I could see the possibility of no SSDR.

Boomer crews are on a three month on three month off rotation. Typically you spend around 20 days in refit before going on patrol. That plus pulling into port for ORSE and TRE's (that occur once per year based on my memories of the 80's), you will probably never go over 90 or 80 days at sea during your period on the boat.
