AUG 10, 1984

My uncles bought a crate full of ak's back in 1985-86 the type with the attached long skinny bayonets, they were covered with that grease. And to this day only one was every shot. The remainder are still in the crate. Sad part is they have no kids to pass these to, and I have been begging them to let my have/buy them, I get the well im not sure what we want to do bs/
On the red dawn movie, Love it.

After Hurricane Hugo down at Surfside Beach, SC , we were banned from going on the beach and there was a curfew. People were spray painting Wolverines all over everything and yelling 'Wolverines!' at the National Guard. Great fun was had by all!

84 was Diana. I remember going to the beach (MB) and being able to walk out a good 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile where water should have been, just before the storm. Really weird. Hugo was in 89.

And who could forget Andy Tanner. RIP, Sir:

I was 2, by the way.

Really enjoy the movie, remake blows hard.

I was 9. Recorded it on VHS. Probably watched it a dozen or more times...then my parents watched it and decided it wasn't appropriate for me.

Same parents that let me have the Van Halen "1984" cassette but tore off the cover showing the angel baby smoking. :D

Or just a little after.
But, sadly, the group was done. Many of the locals had been killed (at least most of the healthy men).

Seriously a good movie.
