I think I might have fallen in love with Nancy Wilson over this video, and it got me looking back at other Heart videos. Who are some other bad ass women rockers?

And before some smart aleck starts - yes, I'd take the fat one if I had to. Let me take one for the team.

 
Joan is high on my list. And I was always a Dave Clark Five fan. This is her performing one of their hits from 1964 at the DC5 Hall of Fame Induction in 2008.


 
I loved Heart in the 80's. I had a thing for Nancy Wilson back then. Saw them 10/27/1987 on Long Island (had to check, I have large frame with many of my concert tickets in my basement). Interestingly, their father was a lifer Marine Corps officer.

This is me with Joan Jett at Kennedy airport, around 1980/1981. We bothered her as she was watching one of those pay-TV's of yesteryear.

Heart is badass. Joan Jett is badass. I would like to add The Bangles to this list. And one of my all time favs Pat Benetar is badass. We can think her for the stretchy pants we men love seeing today on a good looking gal. It's just sad and sickening sometimes though when these sweaty bettys try to do the stretchy pants.
 
I know i'm still new here... but this has gotta be the 2nd or 3rd time this type of thread has come up.

so i'll go ahead and repost Halestorm. Not my kind of music, but lots of... talent.
 
I cannot believe no one has mentioned Grace Slick. Perhaps that is too far back in time for most of you. She showed up at a concert in Bremen Germany dressed in a peasant costume and when people on the audience said that she looked like a " milkmaid" she got pissed, went off stage and returned wearing a Nazi uniform. In Germany. How she got the uniform is a question but that's got to be ballsy.

She went to the White House in 1970 (with Abbie Hoffman) and tried to spike Nixon's tea with LSD. She had been invited as an alumnus of Finch College, which Trisha Nixon had attended.
