Are there any deals to be had on battery powered lawnmowers??

I have a 40v Snapper push lawnmower that I absolutely LOVE! I bought the blower and was gonna get the trimmer.. but then snapper discontinued the 40v for the 60v and the battery's were not interchangeable. Fast forward to present..they have a 82v system now.

I know kobalt's 80v system is supposed to be good....and so is green works.

I'm looking for one for my mom. I'm thinking the battery system would work really well for her and she wouldn't have to mess with gas etc.

Any sales anyone knows of?

Shout-out to @easternnc4me as I got my snapper clearanced out at Wally world for like $150!!! And it was a $500 mower

They have come a long way. Greenworks owners seem to like them on small yards. Neighbor has a Stihl. I think one of the first generations. Takes two batteries to mow his tiny yard. He still likes it.

Mines a 60v snapper .. thought it was a 40. Doh!

Who sells snapper now? Walmart doesn't anymore cause they have Hart or something now. I saw some on Amazon..but am wondering if it's old stock.

I'm debating the push mowers for a new house. Not sure a battery could make it through the size I've been looking at though. I'm thinking honda myself.

I can't really help with the lawnmower question, but you mentioned Kobalt.

I bought the 80v chainsaw and I love it. I intend to go back and pick up the weed trimmer/blower combo pack soon. I guess they make a push mower too, but I have absolutely no interest in that. :D

Any members work at Lowe's or Home Depot??

I really thought there would be a 4th of July sale at Lowe's on the kobalt battery stuff...but it wasn't in the flyer....

We sell a lot of the Ego mowers. My wife wants one because she has trouble pulling the staring rope on my 30yr old Craftsman mulching mower.

Haven't seen mowers of any kind on sale lately. About 3 months ago Lowes had a Greenworks model on clearance (maybe it was on sale).

Love the Kobalt trimmer/blower/chain saw with the 40V battery, the compatible mower - no so much. Bought the mower for my 1/4 grass area. Fully charged battery wouldn't come close to finishing the job, and I had to wait for it to recharge to finish. Returned it and bought a self propelled gas unit.

Yeah...I've seen stuff about that on the 40v.

HOWEVER the 80v kobalt is in top 3 all the time from the reviews I watched on YouTube and researched!!

I Love my 60v snapper. I just do trim work with it....but battery lasts pretty good I think.
My mom would only use a push mower for trim as well.
I gotta look at her self propelled gas mower next week when I go to Greenville....hope it's just a belt...

My daughter has the Ryobi mower, blower, trimmer package and is very pleased with it.
But she has a small lot, maybe .18 acre.
