Battle: Los Angeles

It's one of my favorites as well - watched it last week and meant to come search for a thread on it here

can't tell if i saw that one. there were a few movies along the same lines that came out around the same time... no way of knowing which is which.

You know. I’d like to argue. But your assessment is pretty good.

One of the reasons I’ve watched it half a dozen times. Lol.

you know... i might have confused it with SKYLINE, which was not much worth watching.
I'll give it a shot soon. looks like something i'd like.

I enjoyed it a lot, seen it quite a few times

I'd love to see a sequel.

The small unit tactics are spot-on, the weps-handling, the culture, the language. Whoever the advisor was did a great job. The only thing I questioned was the 20-year staff sergeant, unless he had a NJP or two along the way.

Heard there was one planned, but covid.
Covid? Dude, it's a 10 year old movie, what were they REALLY waiting for? lol (10 years before COVID hit, I should say)

Also just finished. Good flick, would watch again.

Never even heard of it, but I don’t get out much. I’m likely solo in the mountains this week so I’ll see if I can catch it and see what’s up.

LOVE IT.

It's one of my favorite movies. (Especially as a Marine Grunt - Coming in off a training op and being sent straight into battle is some serious Grunt Bullshit.)

I'm going to watch it tonight now.

This movie was so underrated.

I agree, it is underrated.
Got a good cast, Aaron Eckhardt (or whatever), I thought, did an awesome job.
I like the hispanic dude who is the civilian father
It's a really good movie. I wish I could watch it tonight. I need to look for the dvd

If you have Netflix…

It was on one of the movie channels yesterday, so I recorded and me and the wife watched it last night
Even she liked it
What I found interesting was that it's rotten tomatoes and critic score is super low, but it's such a well liked movie from anyone that I have ever spoke with/chatted with. Who the hell didnt like this??

My wife recognized the guy who gets blasted after calling in the airstrike, he's in a show she watches now so she was excited to see him...and bummed he gets vaporized.
