Next weekend - March 15-17 in Greensboro is the anniversary celebration of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, the Revolutionary War battle that broke the British Army’s ability to wage offensive warfare in the South and directly lead to the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown, VA 6 months later.
Friday at 10 am is the annual Commemoration of the battle, the rendering of honors and laying of wreaths at the General Greene Memorial.
Saturday is the reenactment of the Battle of Guilford’s Courthouse, and Sunday is the Battle of Wetzell’s Mill.
Come on out and experience the war that made America.
I will be there with the artillery.
