Who knew. I went and traded a shotgun for a pistol this past weekend. Chatting with the guy he said he had another gun he might trade out. Then he grabs this thing. I was like that’s a scar. No it’s a Beretta ARX. Never heard of it. He was telling me some of the features, damn pretty cool.

Barrels swap out easy.
Can change charging handle to either side
Can change the side the brass exits the gun as well right side or left.

Was great feeling in the shouldered position. But the bottom fore grip sucks. Needs to be smooth or put a rail cover or something on it. In a ready position it is very front end heavy. image000000.jpeg

I’d probably trade a m2 for that if I were you.

I have had 2, and reason I no longer have them is;
1. The stock even all the way out is too short for me.
2. The front end of the gun is a mess to put any decent accessories on. It is egg shaped and where I like to put a light and a pressure switch would take gorilla sized mitts.

Over all both functioned well and only had issues with metal GI mags that were flared out above the mag catch slot.

ARX 100 I have both in .22lr and 5.56, did you know you can fire it with the stock folded? Yup. Piston rifle in 5.56. The seven-lug, rotating bolt has two extractors. They never took off in the military world of things, the barrels were a bit expensive. G2 Magpul mags run fine, can't use G3.
Fun to shoot and yes, folks think it's a SCAR. I also have the ARX 160 .22lr pistol.

The changeable barrels and caliber conversions were a glorious lie Beretta told before they discontinued the ARX.

Yep we had some beta guns to run and add feedback.. suggested they didn't get too cute with ambi everything you could screw up swapping out charging handle BUT they ran and ran. We called it the whale aka FN Tuna kin..Mexico ran a lot of them.. neat find enjoy

I have the sbr version - the gun is a bit clunky but works well.
I'd gladly give you about tree fiddy for the one you have.

when i was on vacation in italy, it's what the military patrols around the monuments were carrying and i decided i needed one. I meant to get the regular size one and then form1 it to sbr, but it got discontinued and the only cheap one i could find was the sbr. so i bought that. i wouldn't mind a full size one as a backup.

Those things got amazingly cheap when Beretta discontinued them. Like $700 new. Then the price shot back up when no one could get one.

they're following a modified fn fs200 pattern.
must be a thing with rifles that look like fish.

and I still need an fs2000, but there's no way i'm paying ~2500 for one until i'm stupid rich (yeah yeah, half way there...)

I tried one out at my range - seemed similar to most others of the same type.....a bit 'clunky' compared to most.
So, as a collector, I eventually bought one - but have never used it. Sits in a rack next to its AR70 cousin.
