Beretta people step inside please 😁

I got you fam.

These are made by Wolff Gunsprings, originally for INS when they were issued the Beretta 96. Earlier Berettas had a thin gauge wire trigger return spring that was prone to breakage. The TCU was a fix so you basically could never break a trigger return spring again. Beretta eventually made a thicker gauge trigger return spring that had much less breakage that was incorporated in the 92 line.

I've been using them for years mostly because changing out the trigger return spring is a PITA if you don't have a slotted tool to move the spring leg back. You will need a metal 92 trigger to use it as the polymer coated triggers are not compatible. Wolff has the reduced power, standard power, and the extra power. I would recommend getting the standard power as the reduced power makes the trigger reset kinda mushy whereas the standard does not. You can buy like five OEM trigger return springs for the price of one TCU, but it's a nice piece of mind.

tl;dr buy the standard power TCU, a metal trigger, and a D (hammer) spring for a nice trigger on a Beretta.

this type of compression TRS is not new. wolff gun springs made this for past 15+ years and now WC is marketting it. The idea of a compression spring for a TRS is excellent but most of us beretta nerds have had issues with this. Firstly there is a ton of rotating metal-metal surface area between the trigger and this TRS. My experience was that over time it developed a gritty sensation and impeded the trigger return. The later phase of trigger return feels sluggish even when the spring is new. Also this TRS can pop up out of position. it’s been discussed a bunch on pistol-forum.

my sense is it will work for a safe queen pistol but if it’s carried in the elements humidity, the smallest amount of corrosion on the steel trigger will cause problems w this TRS.

a better option is to use a Wolff of LTT standard type TRS and just change it every 5-10k pulls including dry fire. Easy fix.

Thanks for all the input 🍻🍺
I have already purchased the metal Beretta trigger kits with springs.
Was just curious if the WC was worth it....while my work schedule is 28 / 28 , I do shoot as much as possible when on the beach( home) so definitely not safe queens😁

Kits are waiting for me when I get home so much appreciate the advise to save me some pennies that apparently can be spent elsewhere...like ammo 🤣
