Bar none of all the squash seeds I've planted these are the best. They have no disease as of today, unheard of in my garden. They were untouched by the SVB's which destroyed the zucchini planted next to them. They have produced more squash per plant than any I have planted, keeping neighbors and friends in squash. Skins don't get hard until they get pretty big.

Just cooked our last batch for the summer. Picked a mess today, the worms finally showed up and had to throw them away. We started planting Prolific Straight Neck about 10yr ago and really love them.

I just pulled two that I let go to seed and got probably 200 seeds to dry for next year.

Think I'll try drying some for seeds. Need a little professional info on the best way to dry seeds.

I just go by my old books but this is a really good book. The key is to make sure the seeds are matured.

If you like watching videos these are pretty good. Just search on what vegetables you want to save for.
