The polls had Sanders up 4.5 points in Texas. How many points will Biden's blabbering idiocy add to Sanders' lead?
 
Biden must not remember that Mondale said he would raise taxes when he was running for POTUS.
 
Biden is now the best hope for the Dem's loosing. They could not afford to loose with Pete or Cloby because a bit loss for an up and comer could kill a career. Plus their delegates will inflate Bidens numbers. Everybody hates Bloomberg. And it will be entertaining to see what the Dems do to Bernie at the convention. It's starting to look like the Dems are setting up Biden for "his shot" because he's the one to give them the last damage by loosing. If Bernie gets the nomination AND looses it will be seen as a referendum on socialism. And I don't think the Dems are ready for that kind of damage right now. That's a generations long train wreck for the communist Choo-choo.

The political gamesmanship that is starting will be fascinating to see.

Regardless, I think he's going to BUY the nomination and the presidency. a hundred thousand here and a hundred thousand there will work wonders. Bear in mind that almost all of these politicians, either repub. or demorat/communist are corrupt and easily bribable.

Bloomberg is that for sure. But he has hundreds of millions of dollars for excellent adds and to buy off the entire demorat national committee. He is the most dangerous piece of work this country has ever faced. He wants not only the presidency but to control the house and senate.

Bloomberg is too late on mass voter buying; Sanders and Warren already have dibs on promising everything to everybody.

Biden is too late to get Abrams as VP; Bloomberg has already bought Abrams if he wants her as VP.

Hillary is remaining noncommittal, hoping for a Draft Hillary movement.

I talked with a Boston Democrat, that lives in NC, last week and I was told that she liked Bernie in 2016 but in 2020 he was too far left. She had no choice but biden.

But when Trump speaks, he sounds like an idiot. He literally says and does exactly what a 6yo bully would. He never seems to make his own decisions, and his tweets are just atrocious hateful nonsense...

But, I keep voting for him because there is no better option...

I don’t like his style, but it works. He knows exactly what he is doing and he is doing it extraordinarily well. It reaches the people he wants to reach and yes, he is talking at their level. He didn’t get to where he is because he is an idiot or clueless or has a 6 year old’s decision making ability. That’s laughable.

Well, he didn't get here with hard work and dedication to the Republicans of America.

He started out with daddy's money... And he lost a lot of that before he got on TV.

He was a hardcore Dem for many years, and he hung out with the Clintons, when it suited him.

Again, I'm voting for him... But I'm smart enough to know that he's an opportunist who'll say and do whatever necessary, in the moment, to get whatever the most recent person told him is important...

He's not a a Republican. And he's not pro gun, unless it suits him in that moment...

He's just the best option we have, until he's not...
 
The irony of our current billionaire president is the very good chance he will be facing a more powerful moneywise candidate by election time. Bloomberg's run is very thought out and the current Democratic frontrunners are playing safe which will be to his advantage come July. Soon the gloves will come off and Democratic voters will see the only chance they have to unseat Trump is Bloomberg. I'm no fan of Bloomberg but his methods work and Trump knows his rethoric will not play well against this guy. Sadly my crystal ball shows Bloomberg walking down Pennsylvania Avenue next January.

Not sure he was really a Democrat. That’s just who you have to pay to deals in NY and NJ. It’s like being born a dog that licks your own butt. It’s what you do. Then one day you lick HER butt and realize you’ve been doing it all wrong. He’s not a a traditional Constitutional Conservative for sure, but he’s not a Clinton or Obama Democrat. He just had to play that game to make his fortune. But we are all free to hold that against him too.

I disagree... I think Biden will get the DNC nomination. And, I hope that Trump will stomp him into the dirt... Then Biden, like Clinton, can claim that Sanders ruined it by staying in the fight too long... Haha

Not because I like Trump, but because we need to keep a Republican president in office to bring more right wing judges to the Supreme Court.

Yep, he was in it for money. Maybe not everyone’s ideal guy, but IMO not a true Democrat. And there is value in watching him make Dem and weak R’s head’s explode. But I don’t want him having anymore power than I wanted Obama having.

He was the Republican because Juliani was a Republican and he didn’t think a Democrat could win. He changed is affiliation. Again. POS that he is. It’s NY so definitions and titles don’t matter. In NYC money matters. And Wall Street matters. There is a reason why Trump didn’t do the traditional NY thing. He wasn’t Mayor or Governor. Because he isn’t Bloomberg. Or Cuomo. He has always been an outlier in NY. Not old money, or politically correct money. His own person. For worse or maybe better eventually. Hopefully.

One of the problems Bloomberg will have IS his money. It's easy to hide in the shadows and throw money at candidates without the public noticing. But self funding his campaign is a big mistake. He is the guy the far left Dems hate and being able to fund your own campaign just proves that. He is getting more flack than you might realize for doing that. Which is where buying off the voters will be problematic for him. Buying the nomination does not equal buying the vote.

Good. Things need to tighten up a little bit. The tighter the race is going into the convention the more blood they will have to draw. The more contested it is the better IMO.

That's a _completely_ different argument from your earlier claim that he is basically a lucky idiot. (6 year old decision making ability)

He started with 10s of millions of his dad's money (I think - please check me on that). He made a LOT more than that, multiple times.

He isn't Ron Paul for sure. But I like what he's done for the last 3 years (except for the bump stock thing, which will still fail in court). The insults on Twitter are a necessary part of what he is doing and how he does it. Plus, they're funny and wind up the liberals so they make fools of themselves. I voted a) against Hillary, and b) to blow up the system. He has turned out FAR better than I had hoped.
 
This might be the first election in many decades where neither candidate mentions national debt.
