Bladesmith Outdoor Leadership Training (BOLT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation serving the Chapel Hill - Pittsboro - Chatham County region of North Carolina.
Each summer we offer week-long morning summer camps (9:30am-12:30pm), developing youth leadership, citizenship, and character through firearms safety and competitive air pistol shooting.
This year (2024), the first of our annual summer camps will take place during the week of June 17-21. The second opportunity will be during the week of July 8-12.
Our camp is geared for first-time shooters (11 and older). Campers learn firearms safety and competitive shooting skills using advanced Sig Sauer P320-M17 Air Pistols. These high-fidelity training pistols propel projectiles using compressed carbon dioxide gas (CO2).
Instruction will focus, first and foremost, on safety and respect for the responsibilities inherent in gun ownership and use.
