Bow maker

Are there any recurve bow makers near central nc.
We have some very large Osage trees on the property and I have been toying/thinking about getting a bow made to get into recurve bows(I already shoot compound bows).

If anyone has had this done any idea of the cost

Man, I had a buddy in G-boro that built a couple of nice recurves, but he moved to Savannah a couple of months ago. That's all I got.

Close friend of mine has a friend in Fay that used to make bows, from my understanding he was well regarded in those circles. I’ll reach out and see if he’s still in business or doing any custom work.

Not that this helps as he has moved to Florida, or at least that’s where he told me he was moving. But check out Lukas here. He used to live here in Julian. My dad and I did some work on his house. He’s a real craftsman as far as bows go and a helluva archer. Multiple competition wins all over the world. Bought my first Colt 1911 from him and he is 100% the reason I got into reloading.
