Stock up on golf balls......
When all the ammo is gone, we'll need a new sport
The manufacturers will claim that is not true, but I'm sure there is a certain amount of that going on.I'm expecting it to last until ammo is back on shelves. I think all primer production is being diverted to ammo manufacturing since the manufacturers make more money on factory ammo sales than they do components.

Well if you feel like you got too many i can help lmaoDamn, I have 15K small pistol and around 10K of small rifle.
I was just getting started during the last big shortage, so I know what you mean!Of course i would pick the worst time to try and start reloading lmao
Hey Buddy! How about lunch!Damn, I have 15K small pistol and around 10K of small rifle.
I can't find 9mm 115 gr fmj rn bullets anywhere. Every website I've checked is "out of stock."
I need 9mm & 40 cal bullets. I didn't realize there were "shortages" until I tried to order some bullets yesterday...
Thanks!!!
Just ordered 1000 9 mm, 115 gr FMJ RN BRASS jackets. Never used brass jackets. Are they better/worse than copper?
Thanks again for the link! I couldn't find them anywhere!!!
I have not used them but I am sure that they will be good to go. Most "copper" jackets are brass if not close to brass. For example Montana Gold bullets with that pretty gold jacket color have more zinc mixed with the copper = brass. The jacket is harder as can be shown when taper crimping 9mm bullets. Copper jackets quickly show signs of overcrimping, MGs do not mark near as easily.
IIRC S&B uses or used to use brass jackets. It is my understanding that with bras you can use less metal to jacket the bullet and can save the manufacturer money. I doubt you will see a difference.
Thanks. Now I have to wait 6 - 8 weeks until they get here.
Would you guys recommend working up a new load for these bullets or stay with my tried & true load of 4.3 gr HP-38 I use with Extreme Bullets 115 gr FMJ RN COPPER jacket?
The last ones i ordered were the 124 match winners (out of stock , 6 to 8 week backorder), they arrived in 4 weeks. Which is fine for me bc i don't wait until im out to reorder.
With USPS right now, 6-8 weeks might be optimistic even if they ship out the same day. I had an order from Southern Shine Media take a week and a half, and that was only 150 miles.
Checked out Ed's in Vass today. He normally has plenty of reloading supplies and 2-3 weeks ago was stocked pretty good even on primers. Today was a different story. Only Primers he had was a few large rifle and large magum rifle. He did have 2k large pistol standard which are now in my possession. Probably had 10-12k large pistol magnum as well. No small pistol or small rifle. Powder supply is ok but not great. You could find several lbs to load most anything you wanted but selection was sort of limited. Does have a good supply of 38,40 and 45 Berry Bullets but no 9mm. Didn't look too hard at the rifle bullets but shelf seemed about half full. Did overhear the lady say that primers might be 6 months coming in. They have some ordered from several suppliers, but not real optimistic about any deliveries anytime soon.
$35.95 for regular primers no matter what brand and the Federal Match were $38.95. I'm pretty sure thats been his price for several months. What were the prices like on the primers he has?
Which ones did you order? If you ordered the ones in the link that are in stock they will ship in 2-3 days USPS Priority. Did you even bother to read the sites statement about shipping times. 6-8 weeks is for backordered in house bullets. This is the BS that causes good companies to lose their good rep. People need to read the damn site and know what they are ordering before they hit the button. This statement only applies to backordered product. What you ordered is in stock assuming you did not order 211733.
I ordered the ones in the link.
Man, chill out... I didn't say anything bad about the company. This is my first time ordering from them. I was happy to find a site that had ANY 9mm 115 gr fmj. With things the way they are today, I'd be happy to get them in 4 - 6 weeks. I'll be a LOT happier if they arrive in a few days.
Sorry, I really didn't mean to pee in your corn flakes...
