I was just looking at Midway and whoa......... Hornady and Sierra rifle bullets are about the same price as Lapua bullets now.....so I ordered Lapua! I noticed that most Berger bullets were slightly more expensive than Lapua...... This is insanity.

Manufacturers are raising their prices every month anywhere between 5-25%

Im pretty confident when I say things will continue to not improve

I only plink these days so i'm not picky about accuracy. Used to use mostly copper coated. With currrent prices I've gone with poly coated lead. Years ago, bare lead is all I ever used and never had any problem getting bores cleaned. Still have some SWC 45's I'll use eventually.

You made me 👀
I used to shoot nothing but Nosler 200gr JHP in my .45 Bullseye Pistol. I switched to Oregon Trail LSWC to save money. Recently, i shoot SNS Coated Lead 147gr SWC in my 9mm Steel Challenge Sigs. For 1,000 bullets, the savings is only $9. No biggie, except multiply that by the 40,000 rounds I’ll burn thru in a year. Then, $360 in savings is real money. Cleanup and accuracy with the SNS or Oregon Trail lead bullets is good enough for master-class scores. May as well save some money 🤑

Midway is about all I can find anything on consistently.... Amazon spoiled me, I cannot stand shipping costs[emoji12]
