C&E Concord Show, 11/25 & 11/26

I'm late to the party, but how was the Concord show?

We choose Salisbury over Concord

How was Concord?

I thought that might be the case

Too close to the holiday

Thanks

Concord was slow both days - like we hear Salisbury was. Folks out hunting, family still in town and spent too much on Thanksgiving were some of the quotes why. We heard Raleigh the week prior was very busy.

Raleigh the week before was way down from normal, too.

There were shows in Greensboro, Concord, and Salisbury this weekend. All close enough to each other to draw both crowds and vendors away from each other. Not a good mix.

Maybe for the vendors, I had a good ole time running the circuit myself tho! Would have hit greensboro too had I not spent all but the gas money to get back home.

Running the circuit can be fun for people like you and me (when I'm not set up at a show), but we heard from a lot of unhappy people who started at Concord and felt they wasted their money going there. Better for everyone to NOT have competition between shows so close together. The ticket buying public gets more to look at and hopefully more selection when vendors aren't split up like they were this weekend.

fair point, but it beats the heck out of the good ole days. 1 greensboro and 2 charlotte shows...per year :)
