I saw a post elsewhere that mentioned a show next weekend in Raleigh, and I was kind of surprised as I don't see it listed on the calendar for the state fairgrounds which I normally check. (And yes, that's the March 2024 link even though the page title is 3-23.)

C&E's site does list the show for next weekend.

This is the second time I've noticed that a gun show hasn't made it on to the public calendar for the fairgrounds. I thought the first time might have just been a glitch, but now I'm wondering... just a coincidence?

Will there be a Site/Fourm table there?

This way I can do a membership without using cc-paypal

Even if there was a table, I don’t recall anybody ever taking payments there. I’m sure John will get you taken care of.

I don't remember if it was C&E the last time it happened, but maybe it's something they didn't do. I just got this response from someone at the fairgrounds.

"Events get added to our calendar once the promoter turns in their marketing sheet with the language they would like to use to promote their event."

I went to the show yesterday looking for a specific vendor, $12 cash needed to get in, but good for the weekend iirc. Tables were spread far apart in some areas and only half of the Jim Graham building was filled, lot of new overpriced junk and places selling hats/tumblers/shirts. Anything cool/old was twice the cost it should be.

I will say there were come gorgeous Browning grade 5 shotguns there for $3500.

I left with some Jammin Jay’s dip and wandered around the flea market a bit, otherwise it was a waste of time/money.

seems a very common report on Promoter's shows.... that once was KING of shows....
