Calling pony experts, Colt Agent?

I have the opportunity to buy a Colt Agent, late version with the enclosed ejector rod. Parkerized, or whatever that finish was. It’s in 85-90% condition cosmetically but, more importantly, it’s tight with a great lockup and no endshake.
I have no real use for it but I like the size/weight/capacity.
I can get it for $500. What do you guys think? Any issues I should be aware of?

I think that’s a deal, sounds like a later version from the way you describe the finish, serial # lookup would be a quick tell. I’ve wanted one for a long time, actually like the tiny grips

Never went back to get it. I passed on the info but I don’t know if it happened?
